Safety Officer

As a Safety Officer based in Ahmedabad, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the compliance of all staff on site with the approved site safety manual. You will be required to confirm, issue, and record safety documents, as well as verify that all equipment being used holds current certificates. It will be your duty to ensure that employees working or visiting the areas under your responsibility adhere strictly to the approved site safety manual. Any breaches of approved safety procedures should be reported promptly to the Project Manager. You will also be responsible for preparing and enforcing policies to foster a culture of health and safety within the organization. Correcting unsafe acts or conditions through the established line of authority will be crucial to your role. Additionally, you will need to evaluate practices, procedures, and facilities to assess risks and ensure adherence to relevant laws and regulations. This position requires a Graduate with an Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) and a minimum of 2-6 years of experience in Safety within the Elevator or Construction industry.
