Job Description

Key responsibilities

Risk assessment: Identify potential hazards, perform risk assessments, and implement preventive measures to control risks and hazards.
Policy and procedure development: Create, implement, and update safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with all local, state, and national regulations.
Workplace inspection and audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits of the workplace to identify unsafe conditions, equipment, or practices.
Incident investigation: Investigate accidents, injuries, and near-miss events to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Training and education: Develop and deliver safety training to employees and management, including safety drills, workshops, and awareness programs.
Emergency preparedness: Assist in developing site-specific safety plans and emergency response procedures, and support emergency preparedness and response efforts.
Compliance and reporting: Ensure the workplace adheres to all legal and statutory requirements and maintain accurate records of inspections, training, and incidents.
Employee and management support: Provide guidance on safety-related topics and support employees and management in maintaining a safe workplace.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹11,353.68 - ₹22,877.79 per month
