Job Description

As a Safety Officer in the Fire & Safety Department at the manufacturing/industrial facility in Gandhidham, Gujarat, your role is crucial in ensuring the safety and well-being of all employees. Key Responsibilities: - Implement and monitor fire and safety protocols across the facility - Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments - Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company safety policies - Organize safety training and drills for employees - Investigate incidents and accidents, prepare reports, and recommend preventive actions - Maintain safety equipment and ensure its proper functioning - Liaise with regulatory authorities and external safety agencies - Promote a culture of safety awareness and best practices among staff Qualifications Required: - Graduate with Fire & Safety Certification - 13 years of experience in fire and safety - In-depth knowledge of fire safety norms and industrial safety standards - Ability to conduct risk assessments and safety audits - Good communication and training skills - Problem-solving aptitude and proactive mindset - Attention to detail and record-keeping skill This is a full-time position with a salary range of 3-4 LPA. The working hours are 12 hours per day, and the schedule includes rotational shifts. In addition, you will be eligible for health insurance, provident fund, and performance bonuses.
