Safety Engineer

As a Safety Engineer, your primary responsibility will be to ensure workplace safety, reduce risks, and comply with regulations to prevent accidents and protect employees while maintaining operational safety. You will be tasked with various key duties including regulatory compliance, risk assessment, incident investigation, safety training, policy development, continuous improvement, collaboration, documentation, and reporting. Your role will involve conducting site inspections and audits to evaluate equipment safety and recommend necessary improvements. Additionally, you will be required to develop emergency response plans, ensure safe handling of hazardous materials, investigate near-misses, and implement preventive measures to enhance safety protocols. Furthermore, you will play a vital role in keeping management informed about safety performance, promoting a strong safety culture in the workplace, and working towards continuous improvement in safety standards. This position is full-time and based in Jhogadia, Gujarat. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of relevant work experience. The role requires 100% willingness to travel and the work location is in person during day shifts with a fixed schedule.
