Qualification & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, or Industrial Safety Engineering
• Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent certification from a recognized institute
• Minimum 3–6 years of experience in construction or industrial safety (Oil & Gas / Infrastructure preferred)

Job Description:

The Safety Engineer / Officer will be responsible for ensuring safe work practices, implementing site-specific safety systems, and maintaining compliance with statutory and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and monitor site-specific safety plans, risk assessments, and method statements.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, and ensure corrective actions.
• Identify hazards and implement preventive measures for work-at-height, scaffolding, formwork, crane operations, and concrete works.
• Conduct toolbox talks, inductions, and periodic safety training programs.
• Investigate incidents and near-misses, and prepare reports with root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Maintain all statutory safety documentation and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Contractors for safe work practices.
• Ensure compliance with PPE usage, fire safety, and emergency preparedness.
• Liaise with external agencies, auditors, and regulatory authorities during inspections.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Sound knowledge of construction and industrial safety practices.
• Familiarity with statutory safety codes and ISO 45001 / OHSAS 18001 standards.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and reporting skills.
• Strong observation, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
