S4 HANA ABAP Consultant

Role & responsibilities

• Develop SAP OData Models using SAP Gateway Service Builder and CDS Views.
• Create and maintain SAP Fiori/UI5 applications using SAP Web IDE, consuming Gateway OData, Restful APIs, JSON services, and Git for version control.
• Implement system interface designs and development, ensuring effective integration across platforms. 
• Verify solutions through rigorous testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Prepare and coordinate technical reports, process documentation, test plans, training needs assessments, and implementation plans.
• Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery and quality results.
• Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using the SAP UI5 framework.
• Collaborate with functional teams to gather, analyze, and understand business requirements.
• Integrate Fiori applications with SAP backend systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA).
• Provide end-user training and support for SAP Fiori applications, ensuring users can effectively utilize the system.
• Stay updated on the latest SAP Fiori and UI5 advancements, best practices, and new releases. 
• Enhance standard Fiori applications to meet specific business requirements and requirements for customization.
• Implement and configure Fiori Launchpad customizations, including Catalogs, Groups, and Portals.
• Write detailed technical specifications for program development and enhancements.
• Perform and document system development activities, including coding and testing.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in SAP Modules (techno-functional role with strong ABAP knowledge and experience with other SAP functional modules).
• Proficient in UI5/Fiori coding techniques and SAP Fiori app development.
• Expertise in CDS and AMDP coding techniques.
• Experience with extending, customizing, and implementing SAP Fiori standard components.
• Familiarity with SAP Fiori Elements (List Report, Work List, Object Page, etc.) and SAP Annotations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Platform and Fiori Architecture for both Cloud and On-Premise deployments.
• Strong experience with Fiori Launchpad Designer, Catalogs, Groups, and Portal configurations.
• Proficiency in using Chrome/Edge debuggers and SAP Business Application Studio.
• Extensive experience with ABAP Development Tools in Eclipse environment.
• Experience with Mobile App development, including SAP Fiori for iOS/Android.
• Travel ready for project deployment and business requirements.
