Runner Boy/Office Assistant

Job Description

We are looking for a responsible and punctual Runner Boy to support daily operations of our fashion house and production unit. The ideal candidate will assist in carrying out errands, material movement, coordination between departments, and delivery/pickup tasks essential to the production process. Key Responsibilities Carry samples, trims, fabrics, or documents between office, workshop, vendors, or tailor units . Handle pickup and delivery of garments, swatches, courier packets , and other materials. Support the production team by buying raw materials (zippers, threads, buttons, etc.) from local markets as instructed. Assist in coordinating between different teams like sampling, tailoring, and quality control. Maintain logbooks for daily errands and get proper sign-offs for each delivery/pickup. Ensure the timely completion of errands to avoid delays in production or dispatch. Help with small office or workshop tasks as needed (like organizing items or assisting in minor packing). Requirements Minimum 10th pass or basic education. Familiarity with Kolkata’s local markets (like Burrabazar, Gariahat, College Street, etc.) is a plus. Two-wheeler license (preferred but optional if most errands are nearby). Must be honest, punctual, and well-behaved. Physically fit and able to carry lightweight loads. Basic communication skills in Bengali and Hindi. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹10,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Work Location: In person
