Runner Boy/Office Assistant

As a Runner Boy at our fashion house and production unit, your role will involve supporting daily operations by assisting in carrying out various errands, material movements, and coordination tasks essential to the production process. Your responsibilities will include: - Carrying samples, trims, fabrics, or documents between the office, workshop, vendors, or tailor units. - Handling the pickup and delivery of garments, swatches, courier packets, and other materials. - Supporting the production team by purchasing raw materials from local markets as instructed. - Assisting in coordinating between different teams such as sampling, tailoring, and quality control. - Maintaining logbooks for daily errands and ensuring proper sign-offs for each delivery/pickup. - Ensuring timely completion of errands to prevent delays in production or dispatch. - Helping with small office or workshop tasks as required, such as organizing items or assisting in minor packing. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 10th pass or basic education. - Familiarity with Kolkata's local markets like Burrabazar, Gariahat, College Street, etc. would be a plus. - Possession of a two-wheeler license is preferred but optional if most errands are nearby. - Must be honest, punctual, and well-behaved. - Physically fit and capable of carrying lightweight loads. - Basic communication skills in Bengali and Hindi. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule, and the work location is in person.,
