Ruby on Rails Developer- Senior Engineer

You will be joining Novatro, a team dedicated to developing an advanced manufacturing platform for medium-large manufacturing companies. Situated in Rajkot, India, we are a small and collaborative group that is passionate about utilizing technology to transform manufacturing operations. As a Software Engineer at Novatro, you will have the exciting opportunity to work on creating the next generation of manufacturing ERP systems. Collaborating closely with our Team Lead, CTO, and fellow developers, you will play a key role in designing and developing a high-performance ERP system using Ruby on Rails. Additionally, you will contribute to our React Native - Expo mobile applications and make crucial decisions regarding the product's architecture to ensure scalability, modularity, and efficiency. Your responsibilities will include architecting and developing the ERP system, developing APIs, implementing DevOps practices for deployment, creating technical documentation, managing project components in an agile manner, and occasionally traveling to collaborate with the global team. You should have proven experience in architecting and developing applications using Ruby on Rails, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced startup environment. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience with Ruby on Rails, including full-stack development, familiarity with CSS frameworks like Tailwind, strong SQL knowledge, experience with PostgreSQL, and basic DevOps knowledge. Experience with Rails Hotwire, React/ReactNative, and Expo would be advantageous. Novatro offers a competitive salary ranging from 8 to 15 lakhs per annum, depending on your skills and experience. This is a hybrid, permanent full-time position with occasional travel, ideally located in Gujarat.
