The Costing Engineer is responsible for preparing detailed project cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, managing budgets, and supporting the commercial team to ensure competitive and accurate pricing for interior fit-out and turnkey projects. You will be coordinating with design, procurement, and execution teams to ensure costing aligns with project requirements. Your responsibilities will include analyzing drawings, BOQs, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates, and taking off quantities based on architectural and MEP drawings. You will develop and update unit rates for labor, material, and subcontracted works, as well as source and validate supplier/subcontractor quotations. Additionally, you will prepare cost plans, pre-tender budgets, and value engineering options, monitor actual costs vs. budget during project execution, and assist in bid preparation, pricing of tenders, and creating financial submissions.
