The Quantity Surveyor cum Project Planner will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, and monitoring of project costs while also planning, scheduling, and tracking progress of interior/execution projects. This dual role ensures that projects are delivered within budget, on time, and as per quality standards.
Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, rate analysis, and budgets.
Evaluate tender documents, drawings, and specifications.
Certify subcontractor/vendor bills and manage cost control.
Identify variations, prepare claims, and negotiate costs.
Track material consumption vs. BOQ and minimize wastage.
Develop project schedules (MS Project /R dash/Zoho Projects and MS Excel.)
Monitor project timelines and update progress reports.
Identify risks, delays, and propose corrective measures.
Coordinate with site engineers, vendors, and clients for smooth execution.
Assist in resource allocation, manpower planning, and procurement schedules.
Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, costing, and project management.
Proficiency in MS Project /R dash/Zoho Projects and MS Excel.
Understanding of interior fit-out drawings.
Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
Strong communication and reporting ability.
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Civil Engineering / Interior / Construction Management.
37 years of experience in Quantity Surveying and Project Planning (Must in interiors/fit-outs).
