RTR Process Expert

As a member of the general accounting process in NEC Global Shared Service Centre (GSSC) for all country units, your role involves the following key responsibilities: - Must have proven experience in RTR process in a shared service environment, managing a team of executives ranging from entry to experienced individuals - Strong attention to detail, organized, and results-oriented - Good working knowledge of Finance processes - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Exposure to SAP Finance & relevant modules - RTR process re-engineering and project management skills - Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Your tasks will include: - Book closing, reporting, Intercompany reconciliation, and fixed assets to ensure accurate financial reporting and decision support for NEC country units - Manage and optimize the entire R2R cycle including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting - Lead and coordinate closing processes for timely financial reporting - Assist the RTR tower lead for all accounting related activities - Ensure balance sheet and expense accounts are properly reconciled and maintained - Collaborate with Team lead to review and improve accounting processes - Take on ad hoc tasks and duties with minimal supervision - Provide documentation and explanations for internal and external audits - Work closely with finance, tax, treasury, and business units to resolve issues and align processes - Review KPIs and SLAs regularly and take necessary actions - Ensure SLA adherence by the team, focus on building efficiency in the processes, manage escalations - Monitor and measure process efficiency to meet customer requirements - Understand end-to-end month-end process and ensure timely closing of books - Prepare MIS and share with BU stakeholders for confirmation of reported numbers - Have a good understanding of financial reporting (DIVA/HFM/I finance Ete) Qualifications Required: - Preferred Bachelors Degree/M.Com/ MBA / Cost Accountant - Process Expert with 6 to 8 years of experience in RTR (GL Accounting) Location: - Mumbai (Airoli) and Bangalore Working Hours: - 8.5 hours/day (US Shift) It's important to note that the company prefers a Chartered Accountant but also considers candidates with Bachelors Degree/M.Com/MBA / Cost Accountant qualifications.
