Geneva RSL Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain

  custom Geneva RSL reports, loaders, and extracts

• Administer and support the

  Geneva application and underlying systems

• Partner with Geneva users to

  analyze and resolve accounting and data-related issues

• Work with full-stack development teams to

  build APIs for data ingestion and extraction

• Support

  Geneva upgrades, patches, and release implementations

• Integrate Geneva with

  data warehouses, security masters, OMS, risk systems, and external platforms

• Coordinate with

  data center and infrastructure vendors

  for system and hardware support
• Engage with

  Advent

  for issue resolution and product enhancement requests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters degree in

  Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline

• Proven experience as a

  Geneva RSL Developer or subject matter expert

  , particularly in custom reporting and data integration
• Strong experience working in

  Linux environments

• Working knowledge of

  programming languages

  such as Python, Java, or C#
• Solid understanding of

  relational databases

  (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle)
• Prior experience in the

  financial services domain

  , ideally within

  Private Equity or Private Credit

• Familiarity with

  version control tools

  (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to resolve complex backend issues
  
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to

  Private Equity and Private Credit fund structures

• Knowledge of instruments such as

  bank loans, leveraged loans, fixed income, CLOs, derivatives, ABS, and CMBS

• Understanding of

  data engineering concepts

  including pipelines and data lakes
• Experience with

  cloud platforms

  (AWS, Azure, GCP) and container technologies like

  Docker or Kubernetes
