Job Description

As a Routing & Switching - Network Engineering Specialist Advisor at NTT DATA, you will be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing networked systems. Your expertise in network configurations, troubleshooting, and coordination with vendors for installation of routers, switches, firewalls, concentrators, and load balancers will be crucial. Additionally, you will perform technical analysis of software, hardware, and network systems, ensuring system integration for LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and transmission systems. Key Responsibilities: - Maintenance and system upgrades, including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations - Create and update technology components of standard operating procedures - Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for problem resolution - Nexus configuration and design, including VDC, VPC, OTV, LISP, FabricPatch, and DCNM - Experience with SD-WAN, Aruba Switching & Wireless, and Cisco Enterprise Wireless communication design - Configuration of Lightweight and Autonomous APs, WLAN Controllers, PRIME, bridging, outdoor/mesh, location tracking, wIPS, and guest access - Wireless surveys, site assessments, and audits - Understanding and configuration of Quality of Service to support Voice, Video, and selected applications across Cisco platforms - MPLS traffic engineering design, configuration, and troubleshooting - Knowledge of LDP, TDP, RSVP Label distribution, MPBGP-VPNv4, Multi-VRF, and VRF-Lite - Design and configuration of application and WAN optimization appliances like NetScaler, F5, Riverbed, and Infoblox Qualifications Required: - Cisco CCNP/CCIE certificate OR equivalent experience - Strong communication skills - Proficiency in documentation using Microsoft Visio, Word, and Excel - Ambitious, goal-oriented, with a commitment to completing tasks - Experience collaborating with customers, IT staff, and possessing technical account management skills - Strong troubleshooting skills - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience If you are looking to be part of a trusted global innovator in business and technology services, NTT DATA is the place to be.
