Description

We are seeking an experienced Rotating Equipment Technician to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the maintenance and repair of various types of rotating equipment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, and turbines.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with rotating machinery to ensure optimal performance.
Perform installation and commissioning of new rotating equipment as required.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment reliability.
Follow safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry standards during maintenance activities.

Skills and Qualifications

8-10 years of experience in maintaining and repairing rotating equipment.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems and rotating machinery.
Proficiency in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
Experience with vibration analysis and alignment techniques.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Certification in mechanical engineering or related fields is preferred.
