ROOM BOY

Job Purpose:

To ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and guest satisfaction by providing efficient and courteous housekeeping services in guest rooms and assigned hotel areas in line with four-star hotel standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean, organize, and maintain guest rooms and bathrooms daily as per SOPs.
• Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.
• Dust furniture, vacuum carpets, mop floors, and clean windows/mirrors.
• Replenish minibar, bathroom supplies, and other in-room items.
• Handle guest laundry and shoe-shine requests promptly (if applicable).
• Ensure guest privacy, security, and confidentiality at all times.
• Respond to guest queries, complaints, and requests courteously and efficiently.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged items, or unusual guest behavior to the supervisor.
• Follow proper procedure for lost and found items.
• Maintain housekeeping trolley, linen supplies, and equipment in good condition.
• Support deep cleaning tasks and special housekeeping assignments.
• Coordinate with front office and maintenance teams when needed.
• Ensure adherence to hotel grooming, hygiene, and safety standards.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum SSLC (10th Standard) pass; diploma in housekeeping preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a reputed hotel (preferred).
• Basic communication skills in English and local language.
• Physically fit, punctual, and well-groomed.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and guest service orientation.
• Ability to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹16,000.00 per month
