Robotics Teacher — Job Description

Location: Samastipur, Bihar
Qualification Required: MCA or BCA
Experience: 1-2 years in teaching / training robotics or related subjects

Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month

Job Purpose / Summary

To plan, deliver and manage robotics instructional program for students. The teacher will create engaging robotics / STEM lessons, facilitate hands-on learning, monitor student progress, maintain robotics equipment, and help students develop technical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver lesson plans in robotics, coding, electronics etc., aligned with student level and curriculum goals.
• Conduct hands-on practical sessions (robot building, programming, sensors etc.) using robotics kits & tools.
• Teach relevant programming (e.g., basic C/C++, Python, Arduino, Raspberry Pi or similar) and electronics / circuit basics.
• Assess student learning: assignments, projects, quizzes, tests; give feedback to help improvement.
• Prepare students for robotics competitions or extra projects, if applicable.
• Maintain robotics lab / equipment: ensure kits/tools are functional, safe, organized.
• Ensure safety rules are followed during laboratory / practical sessions.
• Keep records of student attendance, performance, lesson plans.
• Communicate with parents or guardians about student progress (if needed).
• Stay updated with the latest in robotics / technology / teaching methods.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong foundational knowledge of robotics systems and components: sensors, motors, controllers etc.
• Programming ability: preferably experience with Arduino / Raspberry Pi / microcontrollers; programming in C / C++ / Python.
• Good understanding of electronics / circuit basics.
• Pedagogical skills: ability to explain technical concepts in simple terms.
• Hands-on skills: able to build, troubleshoot robotics kits / circuits.
• Communication skills: with students, colleagues, possibly parents; in Hindi / local language and some English.
• Patience, creativity, ability to engage students.
• Organizational skills: maintaining labs, planning lessons, time management.

Qualifications

• MCA or BCA degree.
• 1-2 years of experience in robotics education / training / tutoring / lab work.
• Experience using robotics / STEM kits and tools.
• Preferably some certification or project experience in robotics (if available).
