Job Description

As a Lead Robotics Engineer at the company, you will be responsible for spearheading robotics and automation projects, overseeing the development of cutting-edge robotic systems from inception to implementation. You will lead diverse teams and work closely with EMS and manufacturing partners worldwide. - Design and integrate collaborative robots, AMRs, and industrial robotic arms for automation purposes - Develop control systems, motion planning, and real-time path planning utilizing ROS/ROS2 - Implement firmware development using embedded C/C++ on STM32/PIC platforms - Integrate machine vision systems for defect detection and automation using OpenCV/TensorFlow Your primary focus will be on robotics design, embedded systems, ROS, machine vision, and new product introduction (NPI), with an emphasis on effective collaboration with EMS partners. You will lead the NPI process and manage the product lifecycle from EVT to MP, ensuring compliance with DFM/DFA/DFT standards. You will oversee EMS partners for sourcing, BOM validation, and quality assurance checks, as well as manage manufacturing test setup, jig design, and automation for EOL testing. Additionally, you will lead and mentor a diverse engineering team, employing agile methodologies to foster collaboration and innovation. Collaboration with international EMS vendors, particularly in regions such as China, Taiwan, and Eastern Europe, will also be a key aspect of your role.,
