We are looking for a Business Risk and Control Lead (BRCL) to join our Global Product Solutions (GPS) team who is a highly organizedgo-getter, who is detail-oriented, able to lead cross-functional projects and manage and prioritize against timelines. The ideal candidate must be able to understand a problem and quickly assess the criticality and potential exposure. The candidate must also have a critical mindset who understands the product and operations to ensure issues address the true root cause and not a symptom. What you need to know about the role - This role will partner and collaborate with thebusinessand SLODas well as partnering with other Business Risk and Control Leads, Risk & Compliance Product Engagement teams, Risk, Legal & Compliance Business Partners and stakeholders across Product, Policy, and other supporting teams todetermineKey Risk Indicators and report out senior leaders andimpactedstakeholders regularly. You will manage various risk identification, assessments,process mapping, Issues, regulatory change management as well as mitigation activities. Your day-to-day activities will include Product Change Review Administer the product launch review processwhile effectively collaboratingwith Product and Policy stakeholders. Risk Assessment Perform and refresh risk assessment including risk identification, documentation, and control evaluation. Translate control deficiencies into mitigation plans andprovidesrecommendations for enhancement.Identifycritical areas tomonitorandescalatesissues and findings toappropriate stakeholderscoming out of the process. IssuesResolution Leadthis processincluding identification of potential issues, determination if an item meets the definition of an issue, completingdetailroot cause analysis,quantify the impact assessment,proactive solution discovery for remediation andensuretimelyclosures/extensions/acceptances. Audit & Exam Management Respondto Internal and External Audit andTesting Engagements (e.g., Second Line of Defense reviews, and Regulatory Examinations) Management Reporting & Awareness Track progress andprovidetimelyupdates andescalate blockers and timeline concerns to management.Provide assertions on risk exposure and articulate and present escalated risks to management.Assistinadvisingsenior management on the status of their risk environment related to risk identification and control weaknesses. Project manager and lead the workstream that are cross-functional in nature Create andmaintainthe risk heat maps, process-level view Develop control test plan and perform control testing Help ensure risks associated with business activities are effectivelyidentified, measured,monitored, andcontrolled. Anticipates business needs and proactivelyidentifiesopportunities to improve and strengthen the control environment through risk assessment process, emerging risks, and SLA reporting. Maintain strong understanding of key risk management principles and processes for the areas supported. Maintenance ofRisk Management tools(ServiceNow, Sphere, etc.)to capturedata,assessmentand reportingfor areas of responsibility. Create andmaintainrisk inventory including Products, Processes, Legal Entity, Risks and Controls. Support other functional areas of responsibility of the BRCL What do you need to bring - StrongCommunication skills and ateam player with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to driveproductivediscussionswith internal and external stakeholders to developand executeaction plans. Expertiseand experience in inherent risk, control design, root cause analysis andquantifythe impact ofa complianceobligations. Experience delivering technical programs or products frominceptionto deliveryon a global scale Proven ability to work cross functionally and adapt to change are extremely important. Ability to prioritize workloads and ensure deadlines are consistently met. Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, manage projects and drive results.
