Role Overview: As a Senior Consultant in Risk Advisory, you will play a crucial role in handling SOX compliance audits, IFC, and Internal audit processes. Your primary responsibilities will include team handling on large projects related to SOX compliance, internal controls, and financial reporting. You will have the opportunity to interact with senior management, enhance technical competency, and manage clients effectively. Key Responsibilities: - Execute SOX compliance audits individually and as part of a team, including risk assessment procedures and identification of significant accounts and transactions. - Perform process walkthroughs, prepare SOX documentation such as process flowcharts and narratives, and conduct tests of design and operating effectiveness for controls. - Identify areas for process improvement by assessing risks and controls, suggesting enhancements, and assisting in remediation efforts. - Communicate clear, concise observations and recommendations on SOX deficiencies to clients, ensuring prompt response to client inquiries and needs. - Support managers in preparing audit plans, testing, and reporting, demonstrating critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Ensure quality and timely delivery of audit conclusions, control effectiveness assessments, and impact analysis of control deficiencies. Qualification Required: - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience from Big 4 or reputed Consulting firms with exposure to risk advisory solutions. - Understanding of complex business situations, ERP environments, risk assessment, and controls, along with knowledge of PCAOB requirements, COSO framework, and relevant statutes. - Strong analytical skills, process-oriented mindset, excellent communication, and report writing skills. - Ability to handle pressure, manage complex situations, work effectively in a team, seek feedback, and maintain positive working relationships. - Proficiency in Excel, Visio, Word, and other MS Office applications.
