Description

We are seeking an experienced Rigger Foreman to lead our rigging operations. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in rigging, proven leadership capabilities, and a commitment to safety. This role involves overseeing the rigging crew, planning operations, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise rigging crews in lifting, moving, and positioning heavy loads safely and efficiently.
Plan and coordinate rigging operations, including determining the best methods and equipment to use for specific tasks.
Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
Provide training and guidance to rigging crew members, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Inspect rigging equipment and tools for proper functioning and maintenance.
Prepare and maintain accurate records of rigging activities and equipment usage.
Collaborate with project managers and other teams to ensure project timelines and objectives are met.

Skills and Qualifications

5-7 years of experience in rigging operations, with a strong understanding of rigging techniques and safety protocols.
Valid Rigger certification and relevant safety training (e.g., OSHA).
Proficient in operating rigging equipment such as cranes, hoists, and slings.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and project stakeholders.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
