Key Skills

Roles & Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain RHEL systems (versions 6, 7, and 8).
Administer and support Veritas Cluster Server (VCS), including configuration, failover testing, and troubleshooting.
Perform system upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
Develop automation scripts using Shell, Python, and Ansible to streamline system administration tasks.
Monitor system health, logs, and respond to alerts to maintain high availability and performance.
Collaborate with application and DB teams to ensure proper system integration and uptime.
Create and maintain documentation for system builds, configurations, and processes.
Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
Ensure compliance with security standards and enterprise policies.

Experience Requirement

6-8 years of experience with RHEL 6/7/8 system administration.
Expertise in Veritas Cluster Server (VCS) setup and management.
Proficient in Shell scripting, Python, and Ansible for automation.
In-depth understanding of Linux internals, system performance tuning, and security hardening.
Knowledge of storage, file systems, and networking in Linux environments.
Experience with troubleshooting hardware/software/network issues.
