RF & Wireless Engineer

We at Robu.in (Macfos Limited) are seeking a skilled RF & Wireless Engineer to design, develop, and test RF Circuits, Antennas, and Wireless Communication Systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in RF System Design, Testing and Troubleshooting for applications such as Drones, IoT, Communication Modules or Telemetry Systems.

Experience: 1- 3 years of hands-on experience in RF Design and Testing.

Salary Range/CTC: ₹ 6,68,988/- to ₹ 9,14,748/- Per Annum; In Hand: Rs.50-K to Rs. 70-K Per Month.

Educational Qualification: Bachelors/Master’s Degree – Electronics, Telecommunication or relevant Engineering field.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Electronics, Telecommunications or relevant Engineering field.
• 1–3 Years of hands-on experience in RF Design and Testing.
• Strong understanding of RF Fundamentals — Impedance matching, S-parameters, filters and signal propagation.
• Experience with RF Simulation tools such as ADS, HFSS, CST or similar.
• Familiarity with Communication Protocols (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, GSM, LTE, etc.).
• Proficiency with RF Lab instruments (VNA, Spectrum Analyzer, Signal Generator, Power Meter).
• Good knowledge of PCB Design Tools (Altium, KiCad, Cadence, etc.) and layout considerations for RF Boards.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Key Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Design, develop, and optimize RF Circuits including Power amplifiers, LNA’s, Filters and matching Networks.
• Work on Wireless Communication Technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, LoRa, LTE, GSM, and custom RF links (2.4GHz / 5.8GHz / Sub-GHz).
• Perform RF testing and validation using instruments like Spectrum Analyzers, VNA’s, Signal Generators and Oscilloscopes.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and mechanical teams to ensure system-level RF performance.
• Conduct Antenna design, simulation, and performance tuning for embedded or external antennas.
• Support PCB Layout review for RF Designs ensuring proper grounding, impedance control, and EMI/EMC compliance.
• Analyze field performance, troubleshoot RF issues, and propose design improvements.
• Document test results, design procedures, and technical reports.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in Drone Communication Systems or Wireless Video Transmission.
• Exposure to Antenna Design and Integration for compact embedded devices.
• Knowledge of RF Regulatory Standards (FCC, CE, ETSI, etc.).
