Job Description

Role & responsibilities

  • Provide revenue assurance for all group entities by verifying and validating rebates received from vendors. This includes reviewing rebate agreements, calculating entitlements based on sales volumes and performance metrics, reconciling claims against actual data, and identify discrepancy if any.
  • Identifying and analysing opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains through proprietary spend analysis and vendor rationalization
  • Develop dashboards and integrate data analytics to measure the impact of these initiatives on overall profitability, increase efficiency, provide assurance, and provide recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Business, and Business Finance Operations, IT) to enhance revenue assurance processes, implement controls, and automate workflows to prevent future leakages.
  • Prepare reports or MIS periodically for management, highlighting key assurance activities, findings and action plans
  • Establish and maintain business partner relationships

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications such as CMA/ CA or Semi qualified CA are preferred
  • 3-5 years of experience in revenue assurance, financial analysis, or auditing, preferably in the distribution, IT, or supply chain industry. Prior experience with rebate management and cost tracking in a high-volume transaction environment is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced functions, pivot tables), ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau or Power BI). Knowledge of SAP, SQL, KNIME will be added advantage
  • Possess good planning skills and a strong capability to execute and achieve results according to deadlines
  • Strong oral and written communication skills including ability to effectively draft reports and present to management
  • Ability to work independently and think critically. A strong team player with a positive, service-oriented attitude who drives process improvements to increase effectiveness of the team and minimize room for errors
  • Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to interact with stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20-30 %
