Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Diagnose and manage retinal and vitreous diseases using appropriate diagnostic tools and imaging.
Perform retinal surgeries including vitrectomy , retinal detachment repair, intravitreal injections and laser procedures.
Conduct detailed retinal evaluations using OCT, Pentacam and other imaging techniques.
Provide post-operative follow-up and manage complications effectively.
Collaborate with the general ophthalmology and optometry teams for comprehensive patient management.
Participate in clinical discussions, training sessions, and hospital academic activities.
Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, patient safety, and quality standards.
Contribute to outreach and awareness activities as part of the hospitals community eye care initiatives.

Preferred candidate profile

Proficiency in vitreoretinal diagnostics and surgical procedures.
Strong communication and patient counselling skills.
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setup.
Commitment to clinical excellence and ethical medical practice.
