Check functioning of OT machines such as microscope, phaco machine, vitrectomy machine, cautery, suction, etc. Receive patients from ward/OPD and assist in pre-operative preparation. Verify patient details, surgery site, and ensure proper documentation. Ensure aseptic technique and sterile environment at all times. B. Intra-Operative Responsibilities Assist surgeon during Cataract, Retina, Glaucoma, and other eye surgeries. Pass instruments and consumables as required during the procedure. Handle microscope, lights, and positioning of equipment. Maintain sterile field and monitor usage of instruments. Assist in counting gauze, blades, and instruments. Manage patient positioning and comfort on OT table. C. Post-Operative Responsibilities Assist in shifting patients from OT to recovery room safely.
