Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Diagnose and manage pediatric eye conditions such as refractive errors, strabismus, amblyopia, congenital cataract, pediatric glaucoma, and retinal disorders.
Perform pediatric ophthalmic examinations and surgical procedures as required.
Conduct OPD consultations and follow-up care.
Work closely with optometrists, orthoptists, and nursing staff.
Educate parents and guardians about diagnosis, treatment plans, and preventive eye care.
Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to hospital protocols.
Participate in clinical meetings and continuous medical education activities.

Preferred candidate profile

Strong clinical and surgical skills in pediatric ophthalmology
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patient-friendly and empathetic approach toward children
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
