Key responsibilities include developing TDM strategies, ensuring data quality and security, automating processes, resolving data issues, and collaborating with stakeholders. Skills in SQL, various TDM tools (like IBM Optim), and an understanding of data privacy regulations are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Define and implement comprehensive strategies for test data management, including provisioning, governance, and security policies.
Generate, subset, and provision synthetic or masked test data from production environments to meet testing needs.
Implement data masking and other techniques to protect sensitive data (like customer PII) and ensure compliance with retail and data protection regulations.
Design and implement automated workflows for test data generation, refresh, and delivery to improve efficiency and speed up testing.
Monitor test data usage and quality, resolving any issues related to accuracy or availability to ensure reliable test results.
Work closely with development, QA, and business teams to understand data requirements and ensure successful end-to-end data delivery for testing.
Provide regular reports to stakeholders on data quality, availability, and utilization to highlight risks and demonstrate progress.
