Job Description

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Chennai (Preferred)

Immediate joiners only

Key Responsibilities:

Manage/Lead end-to-end testing for RPG/Mainframe applications (IBM iSeries/AS400).
Define test strategy, plans, and schedules aligned with project goals.
Execute functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
Manage defect lifecycle and ensure timely resolution (Jira/Confluence).
Design and implement automation frameworks for Web App, Mainframe/RPG apps.
Develop automated test scripts and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with development, business, and QA teams for quality delivery.
Work experience in both Agile & Waterfall Methodologies.
Track and report test progress, coverage, and quality metrics.
Drive continuous improvement in testing processes and tools.

Required Skills:

Strong experience in RPG/Mainframe testing (JCL, DB2, CL commands).
Hands-on with automation tools (Selenium, UFT, RFT, or Mainframe-specific).
Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Java, REXX).
Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred:

ISTQB certification.
Exposure to API testing and cloud environments.
