Retail Store Manager

Role Overview: You will be responsible for developing business strategies to increase customer pool, enhance store traffic, and maximize profitability. Your role will involve meeting sales targets by training, motivating, and mentoring sales staff, as well as ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service. Additionally, you will oversee store administration, maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards, and report on buying trends and customer needs. You will also be expected to propose innovative ideas to grow market share, conduct personnel performance appraisals, and address any issues arising from staff or customers. Key Responsibilities: - Develop business strategies to raise customer pool and optimize profitability - Meet sales goals by training, motivating, and mentoring sales staff - Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service - Complete store administration and ensure policy compliance - Maintain outstanding store condition and visual merchandising standards - Report on buying trends, customer needs, profits, etc. - Propose innovative ideas to increase market share - Conduct personnel performance appraisals and assess training needs - Address all issues arising from staff or customers - Fulfill additional store manager duties as required Qualifications Required: - Proven successful experience as a retail Store Manager - Strong leadership skills and business orientation - Customer management skills - Strong organizational skills - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Experience with handling furniture/furnishings preferred Please note that the job type is full-time, with a day shift schedule and an in-person work location.
