Job Description

As the Retail Store Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our store. Your primary responsibilities will include leading the store team to provide outstanding customer service, boost sales, and ensure the seamless day-to-day operations of the store. Your duties will encompass various aspects such as Sales & Business Performance, where you will strive to meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) like footfall, conversion rates, and average bill value will also be part of your role. You will be expected to develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and enhance profitability. In terms of Store Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the store, including managing inventory, handling cash transactions, and implementing visual merchandising standards. It will be essential to ensure that the store complies with company standard operating procedures (SOPs), policies, and regulatory requirements. Collaborating with the head office/brand teams for stock replenishment, promotions, and reporting will also fall under your purview. Creating a superior Customer Experience will be paramount. You must uphold service standards consistently, address customer concerns promptly, and cultivate a loyal customer base through effective relationship management. Effective Team Management is another key aspect of the role. This will involve recruiting, training, and supervising store staff, as well as motivating the team, enhancing performance, and supporting professional development. Additionally, you will be responsible for scheduling staff and ensuring adequate coverage during peak hours. Maintaining Visual Merchandising & Brand Standards will be crucial to the store's success. You will need to ensure that store displays align with brand guidelines, execute seasonal and promotional changes in line with brand directives, and uphold store hygiene, ambience, and overall presentation. Regular Reporting & Analysis will also be part of your responsibilities. Tracking and analyzing sales performance and inventory movement, submitting periodic management information system (MIS) reports, and providing insights for local marketing and promotional activities will be essential to drive the store's success. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, along with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in Hindi is preferred, and the work location is in-person.
