Retail Sales Officer

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Customer Engagement

• Welcome customers warmly and understand their jewellery needs and preferences.
  
• Showcase collections from gold, diamonds, platinum, and other product categories.
  
• Provide expert product knowledge, including craftsmanship, purity, certifications, and making charges.
  
• Achieve daily/weekly/monthly sales targets as set by the showroom management.
  
• Promote new arrivals, offers, and Tanishq value-added services.
  

2. Customer Experience & Relationship Building

• Maintain a high level of customer service aligned with Tanishqs hospitality standards.
  
• Assist customers through their buying journeyselection, trial, decision-making, and billing.
  
• Build lasting relationships with customers and encourage repeat visits.
  
• Handle customer complaints or concerns professionally and escalate when required.

3. Store Operations

• Assist in stock management, replenishment, and daily inventory checks.
  
• Ensure jewellery displays, counters, and showcases are maintained as per visual merchandising standards.
  
• Support store security protocols for jewellery handling.
  
• Coordinate with billing, service, and operations staff for smooth store functioning.
  

4. Compliance & Documentation

• Follow all company SOPs including sales processes, customer documentation, and security guidelines.
  
• Maintain accurate records of sales, customer leads, and product requests.
  
• Participate in audits, stock checks, and product tagging as required.
