Retail Assistant

Role Overview: As a Retail Assistant, your main responsibility will be to provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. Your passion for fashion and strong communication skills will be key in engaging with customers and offering personalized style advice. In addition to maintaining store presentation standards, you will also be involved in organizing promotions, handling transactions, and staying updated on the latest fashion trends. Key Responsibilities: - Engage with customers, answer queries, and provide personalized style advice to deliver outstanding customer service. - Maintain store presentation standards through visual merchandising and stock replenishment. - Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system accurately for transactions. - Utilize computer systems for inventory management, online orders, and customer database maintenance. - Assist in organizing in-store promotions, events, and seasonal sales. - Support with stock deliveries, unpacking, and organizing the stockroom. - Stay informed about the latest fashion trends and products to confidently advise customers. Qualifications Required: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Tech-savvy with proficiency in using computers, POS systems, and other retail technology. - Previous retail experience, especially in fashion, is highly preferred. - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. - Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays. - Positive and proactive attitude with a team-player mindset.
