We are expanding our team and looking for a responsible and energetic Grocery Store Assistant. --- ## **📝 Job Description** As a **Grocery Store Assistant**, you will support daily retail operations and ensure customers have a smooth and pleasant shopping experience. You will be responsible for product handling, display management, billing support, and maintaining store hygiene. --- ## **🔑 Key Responsibilities** ### **Customer Service** * Greet customers and assist them in finding products * Provide product knowledge and suggestions * Handle customer queries and ensure satisfaction ### **Store Operations** * Receive, unload, and arrange stock on shelves * Ensure accurate price tagging and product labelling * Maintain cleanliness and organisation of store aisles * Assist in inventory counting and stock rotation (FIFO) * Keep shelves fully stocked and visually appealing ### **Billing & Cash Handling** * Support billing counter operations when required * Assist in packing items for customers * Handle small cash transactions (if needed) ### **Quality & Hygiene** * Check expiry dates and remove damaged/expired items * Maintain hygiene standards across the store * Follow store safety protocols --- ## **🎯 Skills & Qualifications** * Minimum qualification: 10th/12th pass * Prior experience in retail/grocery preferred but not mandatory * Basic math & communication skills * Physically fit and able to lift moderate weights * Honest, punctual, and customer-friendly attitude --- ## **⏱️ Work Hours** * shift 1 - 6a.m. to 4p.m. * ⁠shift 2 - 2p.m. to 12 midnight --- ## **💰 Salary** * Rs 10000 - Rs 14000 * Competitive salary based on experience * Additional performance incentives available
