Job Description

Greeting customers - Welcoming customers when they arrive and introducing them to the menu Taking orders - Taking food and drink orders from customers, and writing them down or entering them into a tablet Answering questions - Answering questions about the menu, ingredients, food sensitivities, and food substitutions Making suggestions - Giving customers suggestions for food and drinks, and telling them about special menu items Ensuring quality - Ensuring that the food order is made correctly and looks presentable for guests Communicating with customers - Inquiring if customers are satisfied, and communicating to resolve any complaints Processing payments - Handling bill payments and giving bills to customers Cleaning tables - Removing dirty dishes from tables while customers are eating, and cleaning tables after customers have finished their meals Shift duties - Delivering racks of cups to the service station, rolling silverware, pre-bussing tables, and wiping tables
