Job Title: Restaurant Cashier

Reporting to: Restaurant Manager

Location: Khaleez Restaurant, Tirur

Job Summary:

We are seeking a friendly and efficient Restaurant Cashier to join our team. As a key member of our front-of-house staff, you will be responsible for delivering excellent customer service, processing cash and card transactions, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet and serve guests in a friendly and professional manner

- Handle cash, credit cards, and mobile payments accurately and efficiently

- Operate a point-of-sale system and manage cash register

- Process orders, handle guest requests, and resolve any issues promptly

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cashier area and Front desk

- Participate in opening and closing procedures, including counting cash and reconciling transactions

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery

- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Previous experience as a cashier or in a similar role

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask

- Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system

- Ability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

- Friendly and approachable demeanor
