Job Description

Resident Medical Officer (RMO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 24/7 medical coverage as per duty roster.
  • Assess, monitor, and manage patients under consultant supervision.
  • Handle medical emergencies and provide first-line treatment.
  • Assist consultants during ward rounds, procedures, and emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
  • Coordinate with nursing staff, laboratory, and diagnostic departments.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital protocols and patient safety standards.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Sound clinical and medical knowledge.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
  • Quick decision-making and problem-solving ability.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment.

Eligibility Criteria

  • MBBS degree is mandatory.
  • Freshers are welcome; prior hospital experience will be an added advantage.
