Job Summary:

The Resident Medical Officer (RMO) plays a critical role in providing round-the-clock medical care and support to patients under the guidance of senior consultants. The RMO ensures the delivery of high-quality patient care, responds to emergencies, and assists in clinical procedures and day-to-day operations within the hospital or healthcare facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide continuous medical cover, routine, and emergency, for patients.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and progress regularly.
• Assist consultants in the examination, diagnosis, and treatment of patients.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies and initiate life-saving measures.
• Write and update patient case notes, discharge summaries, and referral letters.
• Ensure all medical records and reports are accurately maintained.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests as necessary.
• Supervise and coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff.
• Ensure informed consent is obtained for all appropriate procedures.
• Attend ward rounds with consultants and provide relevant clinical input.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families about treatment plans and progress.
• Follow hospital policies on infection control, patient safety, and documentation.
• Participate in continuing medical education (CME) programs, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• MBBS degree (or equivalent) from a recognized medical college.
• Registration with [Insert relevant medical council, e.g., MCI/NMC].
• [1-3+] years of post-internship experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
• BLS/ACLS certification is preferred (especially for ICUs/Emergency roles).
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including nights and weekends.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
