Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for: - Resolving hardware & software issues reported by customers on a daily basis as part of the AMC. - Visiting customer sites on a deputation basis and staying for the long term if required. - Keeping regular updates on the product lifecycle. - Handling customer inquiries/requests in a timely manner. - Providing technical support to customers and site engineers with a focus on site closure. - Identifying and communicating technical risks of proposed solutions/systems. - Participating in guiding the resolution of technical issues for projects under execution & ensuring robust, timely completion of technical issues impacting customers. - Promoting collaboration and calling on experts from across Emerson, as necessary, to solve problems. - Traveling to the site to solve technical issues or lead commissioning activities in critical projects. Who you are: - You serve as a strategic partner to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key accounts. - You make significant progress and remain calm and composed, even when things are uncertain. - You observe situational and group dynamics and select the best-fit approach. For this role, you will need: - Minimum 5-7 years of proven experience in Automation, SCADA, PLC, DCS, VFD, Project Sales, implementation, and Tendering. - Knowledge of various verticals like power, water, metal, and oil and gas industries. - Expertise in Emerson PLC and SCADA is an added advantage. Preferred qualifications that set you apart: - Bachelor's degree or any equivalent in Electrical, Electronics, instrumentation, and Automation Engineering or any related field. - Proficiency in MS Office Suites such as MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. - 3-year diploma in Electrical, Electronics, instrumentation, and Automation Engineering or any related field.
