Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Resident Engineer (E&M) to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have 15 to 20 years of experience in major infrastructure projects, with at least 4 years specifically in urban rail-based passenger carrying systems.

Roles and Responsibility

Monitor day-to-day site activities related to electrical and mechanical works, including HVAC, fire detection & suppression, lifts, escalators, lighting, and power distribution.
Ensure all E&M installations meet approved designs, technical specifications, and safety codes.
Liaise with civil, architectural, and system teams to resolve interface issues and ensure smooth integration of E&M systems.
Oversee inspection, testing, and commissioning of E&M equipment to validate performance and reliability.
Maintain site records, prepare progress reports, and support compliance documentation for bid and project execution.
Supervise contractors, review work progress, and ensure timely completion of E&M works.

Job Requirements

Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 15 years of experience in major infrastructure projects.
At least 4 years of experience in urban rail-based passenger carrying systems.
Possess strong knowledge of railways, highways, buildings, urban planning, water & environment, and signaling & telecommunications.
Demonstrate excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Exhibit strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Commitment to improving transportation and urban infrastructure efficiency.
