Reservations Supervisor

As a Reservation Supervisor at Holiday Inn, you will be responsible for supervising the operations of the Reservations Department to meet Hotel sales targets. Your role will involve selling InterContinental Hotels Group products and services, promoting the Hotels" offerings, and maintaining a high level of knowledge about all Hotels in your region. **Key Responsibilities:** - Sell IHG products and services using up-selling and suggestive selling techniques. - Promote the Hotels" products and services. - Develop and maintain a regular pattern of sales calls. - Record and process reservations made by phone/fax/email. - Manage wait list reservations and process amendments such as extensions and early departures. - Record special billing arrangements for groups and conventions. - Maintain knowledge of special rates/offers/promotions. - Prepare reservation sales reports. - Work with superiors on manpower planning and management needs. **Qualifications & Requirements:** - Bachelor's degree/higher education qualification/equivalent. - 1 year related experience in reservations/front office or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
