Reservation Executive

You will be responsible for handling reservation inquiries and bookings for our establishment. This includes assisting customers with their booking needs, providing information about availability, rates, and amenities, and ensuring a smooth reservation process from start to finish. Your key responsibilities will include handling incoming reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online booking platforms. You will assist customers in selecting appropriate accommodation based on their needs and preferences, provide accurate information regarding room availability, rates, and hotel facilities, and process reservations accurately and efficiently. Additionally, you will confirm bookings, maintain updated knowledge of room availability and hotel services, handle special requests from guests, and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth guest arrivals and departures. In case of any booking issues or discrepancies, you will resolve them promptly and professionally while keeping records of all reservations and customer interactions. To excel in this role, you should have proven experience as a Reservation Executive or similar role in the hospitality industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, along with a strong customer service orientation and the ability to manage difficult situations with diplomacy. Proficiency in using reservation software/systems, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and accuracy in data entry are crucial. Problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service will also be beneficial. Ideally, you should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with additional education in hospitality management or a related field considered a plus. Previous experience with reservation systems such as Opera, Amadeus, or similar is advantageous. This position may require a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The work environment will be primarily in an office setting with occasional interaction with guests.
