Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Handle all room reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online channels promptly and professionally.
Ensure accurate entry of booking details into the hotels PMS (Property Management System).
Communicate room availability, rates, and special packages to guests and travel partners.
Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and Housekeeping teams to ensure seamless guest arrivals and departures.
Respond to guest queries, modification requests, and cancellation inquiries with courtesy and clarity.
Maintain an updated record of booking sources and assist in room inventory management.
Support Revenue and Sales teams in implementing yield management strategies and promotional offers.
Follow up on pending payments and confirmations for FITs, corporate, and travel agent bookings.
Ensure all reservations are handled in line with hotel policies and brand standards.
Provide exceptional guest service, aligning with The Johris reputation for heritage hospitality and personalized experiences.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Hotel Management or related field.
1–3 years of experience in Reservations or Front Office, preferably in a luxury or heritage property.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficient in PMS (preferably Opera, IDS, or similar) and Microsoft Office tools.
Attention to detail, accuracy, and guest-oriented mindset.
