As a research-obsessed writer for Zero1 by Zerodha, your role will involve turning real-world complexity into engaging visual narratives through storytelling meets journalism on YouTube. Your key responsibilities will include: - Writing 2 to 3 original stories every week on business, economy, startup ecosystem, geopolitics, and market trends. - Conducting research from whitepapers, earnings calls, regulatory filings, expert interviews, and verified sources. - Breaking down your research into scripts and storyboards for video production. - Tracking trends and explaining their significance to everyday Indians. - Collaborating with motion designers and editors to shape the visual story. - Learning from performance data to evolve your writing style accordingly. To excel in this role, you should: - Have 2 to 4 years of experience in writing about business, economy, or policy. - Be able to simplify complex topics without oversimplifying them. - Enjoy connecting dots across different sectors, timelines, and patterns. - Be curious, precise, and dedicated to conducting thorough research. - Understand YouTube and have a passion for format-driven storytelling. - Bonus points if you have experience in launching or scaling a creator-led channel or content series.
