Youtube Content Strategist

You will be responsible for writing short and long-form content for Zero1 by Zerodha, a YouTube channel and India's largest financial community developed in collaboration with Zerodha, India's leading stockbroker. Your role as a writer will involve making finance and business engaging for a younger audience. You will conduct detailed research in the realms of business, economy, startup economy, and geo-politics, focusing on their impact on the business and financial landscape of India. As a research-focused writer, you will be expected to create both long-form and short-form content for YouTube that is grounded in solid data, thorough research, and the ability to simplify complexity for a broad audience. This position is not tailored for SEO writers or copywriters but for individuals who delve into whitepapers, monitor global markets, and possess the skill to present insights clearly to the masses. Your key responsibilities will include writing and proofreading original content on business and economy, brainstorming new topics regularly, conducting in-depth research by interviewing various stakeholders, analyzing research papers, and sourcing information from reliable reports. You will be required to comprehend the analytics of short-form content and contribute to the visual storytelling process for the video production team. Staying informed about the latest news, exploring diverse perspectives, and keeping abreast of developments in the capital markets will be crucial aspects of your role. The ideal candidate for this position is an adept writer with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams to meet deadlines efficiently.
