Research Professionals - Sealants & Adhesives

About the Role:

Chembond Material Technologies is seeking experienced R&D specialists across levels to expand our Sealants and Adhesives division. If you have strong technical expertise in sealant chemistry and a passion for developing innovative solutions for the automotive sector, we would like to hear from you.

These openings are based in Alandi (near Pune, Maharashtra). We also welcome applications from international candidates who are interested to relocate.

• Lead / Work on development of sealants and adhesives from concept to commercialization.
• Convert market and customer requirements into clear product specifications and development roadmaps.
• Manage or work with a team of chemists and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation.
• Execute lab trials, application tests, and performance evaluations.
• Partner with customers or external collaborators for co-development and customization projects.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams—Sales, Marketing, Production, and Quality—to ensure smooth and timely launches.
• Benchmark competitor products and identify opportunities for product enhancement.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant safety, quality, and environmental standards.

• Candidates with an advanced chemistry, engineering, polymer chemistry, etc. degree or relevant experience.
• Candidates with deep technical knowledge in sealants/adhesives and experience in formulation development.
• Professionals who have led a team or strong individual contributors with specialized expertise.
