Job Description

We are looking for a Research Journalist Intern who is curious, detail-oriented, and passionate about storytelling backed by strong research. This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates interested in journalism, media research, content analysis, and investigative reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth online and offline research on assigned topics
• Verify facts, data, and sources for accuracy
• Assist in writing research-based articles, reports, and briefs
• Summarize complex information into clear, engaging content
• Support senior journalists and editors with background research
• Stay updated with current affairs, trends, and industry news
• Maintain proper citations and documentation of sources

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Media Studies, English, Political Science, or related fields
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Excellent written English communication skills
• Ability to identify credible sources and fact-check information
• Basic understanding of journalism ethics
• Familiarity with Google Docs and online research tools

Preferred Skills (Good to Have)

• Prior experience in content writing or journalism
• Interest in investigative or long-form journalism
