Research Formulation Executive

As a Research Formulation Executive at Karmic Beauty, you will play a crucial role in managing the new product development process. Working closely with the founder and the formulator team, your responsibilities will revolve around conducting market research, analyzing competition, and contributing to the creation of high-quality products that align with our company's vision and values. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting surveys on ingredients and product chemical formulations, creating case studies for beauty and cosmetic products, studying competitor brands to gather relevant data on ingredients, formulations, and upcoming trends, as well as handling queries and following up with sample customers for consumer studies and feedback. To excel in this role, you should ideally have 1-3 years of experience in the cosmetic, beauty, or wellness industry, with a solid understanding of developing effective beauty products. Strong communication skills, the ability to collaborate with diverse teams, multitask effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment are essential. Additionally, a keen eye for aesthetics and branding in the beauty and lifestyle sector will be beneficial. Preferred qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Pharma, or a related field, prior experience working with beauty, wellness, or lifestyle brands, and a good knowledge of ingredients and formulations.
