Research Associate - Sector Agnostic

Role Overview: You will be working as a Research Associate at Equirus Securities Private Limited. As a Research Associate, you will report to the Research Analyst of your assigned sector. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct on-the-ground channel checks to gather sales data and real-time market insights within the sector. - Analyse data to generate actionable insights and convert findings into quantitative metrics for financial models. - Aid in modelling exercises to assess potential impacts on companies" margins, growth opportunities, and valuations. - Collaborate with the Senior Analyst to facilitate new stock initiations and formulate innovative stock ideas. - Prepare detailed reports tailored for institutional investors, outlining investment prospects and market trends in the Indian sector. - Showcase a strong passion and understanding of the Indian stock market, particularly in the BFSI sector. - Utilize experience in financial modelling, market analysis, or related fields. - Demonstrate the ability to interpret and transform market insights into data-driven analyses. Qualification Required: - CA / MBA qualification. - CA / MBA Freshers or 1-2 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in valuation techniques and financial modelling with exposure to the BFSI sector. - Strong fundamentals and technical knowledge in the financial domain. - Excellent report writing skills. - Fluent communication skills.
