To support analysts and fund manager in deepening the research on companies and industries
- Developing screeners and comprehensive analytical framework to filter out stocks for focused research.
- Deep down research on filtered out stocks which involves exhaustive financial analysis; meeting with company management/ various stakeholders/ channel partners; attending AGMs/ earning calls and using any other possible research tools
- Working on Financial Models; updating historical numbers, building financial projections and carrying out valuation using appropriate methodology.
- Building and maintaining databases tracking key macroeconomic indicators/industry KPIs; Tracking news, events and results of the companies under coverage
MBA/ PGDM (Finance) from a reputed Institute/ CA; CFA (US) would be an added advantage.
2+ Years in equity research with experience in multiple sectors
Proficiency in financial analysis, modelling and valuation tools like DCF, valuation multiples etc.
Excellent Communication (both oral & written) and interpersonal skills.
Good understanding about the macro and micro economic environment for several businesses/ sectors
Strong analytical & problem solving skills
Proficiency in the computer skills required for the job. Knowledge of VBA, Excel Macros would be an added advantage
